How to Create a Group Email in Gmail?

Gmail is the leading email service in the world which is clear by the sheer fact that 3 out of 4 people use Gmail for both personal and professional email communication. It is known for its user-friendliness and other security features which helps a lot in making it the most used email service in the world. Gmail is a very easy and secure way to communicate via email over internet. All you need is a Gmail address and an internet connection. You can send and receive emails with the help of Gmail from any email service like Hotmail, outlook, yahoo mail etc.

Gmail allows you to send email to multiple people using one group id. This feature of Gmail is called Group mail. With this you can send email to multiple people at one go which are all stored under a group id. To use this feature in Gmail, you need to follow the steps below:

  • Step 1) First you need to go to their official address i.e. using your web browser.
  • Step 2) Then you need to click on Gmail icon.
  • Step 3). Next you need to click on contacts and select the contacts you want in a Group ID. If you do not have Google contacts, then you need to add a few contacts to use Group Id feature in Gmail.
  • Step 5) Next you need to create on + icon and then create a label for it.
  • Step 6) Next you need to give a name to the group by entering the desired name you want to use for this Group that recognizes the group.

Now you have created a group in Gmail and you can use it to send email to Group Id by clicking on New button and typing the group name in the To box of Gmail.
